Here at Honey Bunny’s Tea House, we are proud of our afternoon tea experience. What exactly is afternoon tea? It’s more than just a nice hot drink after midday; it’s a whole new experience. If you’ve never been treated to afternoon tea, our family would be delighted to host you.

What is Afternoon Tea?

Afternoon tea as we know it today got its start more than 200 years ago in Victorian England. A close friend of the Queen’s – Anna Russell, the Duchess of Bedford – is credited with starting the tradition of a light teatime snack between lunch and dinner. Over time, afternoon teatime grew into a full-fledged, standalone meal complete with soups, sandwiches, sweet treats, and – of course – delicious tea!

Honey Bunny’s Tea House is excited to carry on this tradition with our take on elegant and delectable teatime service for discerning customers in Ridgefield WA.

  • 2 hours of elegant ambiance in a no-rush environment.
  • Soup in handcrafted bowls.
  • Savories, scones, and sweets served in a 3-tier tea tower.
  • Our finest loose-leaf teas.
  • Clotted cream made in-house.
  • Accommodations for allergies, gluten intolerance, and other dietary restrictions – just let us know your needs when you make your reservation so we can prepare!
  • Gluten-Free and Vegetarian menus coming soon
